Vimonto Deploy vs Cleavr

Cleavr and Vimonto Deploy do much the same job: they set up servers in your own cloud account or on your own VPS and deploy PHP and Node.js apps from Git with zero downtime. Cleavr has a low-priced plan for one server, supports more Node.js frameworks such as AdonisJS and Strapi, and can build on GitHub Actions; teams, the API and load balancers come with its Business plan. Vimonto Deploy has one price per organization with every feature included, plus uptime checks, monitoring alerts, an audit log and an interface in five languages.

Where they differ

Plans. Cleavr's Lite plan is $5.50 per month for one server, and adds backups and monitoring on Pro, then teams, the API and load balancers on Business. Vimonto Deploy has no feature tiers: the free plan covers 1 server and 3 sites with every feature, and Premium removes the limits for €15 per month per organization, members included. See pricing.

Apps and builds. Both deploy Laravel, WordPress, PHP, Next.js and Nuxt. Cleavr also lists AdonisJS, Strapi, Directus and other Node.js apps, and can build an app on GitHub Actions before it reaches the server. Vimonto Deploy also has presets for Symfony and Statamic, site features such as Horizon, Reverb and Pulse for Laravel or real cron and Redis for WordPress, and accepts GitLab self-hosted.

Watching your servers. Cleavr shows server metrics through Netdata, and its documentation says monitoring has no alert settings. Vimonto Deploy includes monitors that email you when CPU, memory or disk stays above a threshold, heartbeats for scheduled jobs, uptime checks for every site and an audit log of who changed what.

Moving over from Cleavr

Vimonto Deploy does not import from Cleavr, and a server set up by another panel cannot be connected as it is: provisioning needs a clean Ubuntu 24.04 or 26.04 server. You move by building a new server next to the old one and switching DNS when it works.

Create a server in your cloud account or connect a fresh VPS, create a site for each app from the same Git repository, copy its environment variables and deploy script, and restore your database from a dump on the new server. Test it on the site's generated address, then point your domain to the new server; with Cloudflare or your cloud provider connected, Vimonto Deploy can create the DNS records for you.

Questions about Vimonto Deploy and Cleavr

Is Vimonto Deploy an alternative to Cleavr?

Yes. Both manage servers in your own cloud account or on your own VPS and deploy PHP and Node.js apps from Git with zero downtime and rollback. They differ in plans, in the Node.js frameworks they list, and in monitoring, uptime checks and the audit log, which Vimonto Deploy includes.

Is Vimonto Deploy cheaper than Cleavr?

For one server, Cleavr's Lite plan costs less than Premium, while Vimonto Deploy's free plan covers 1 server and 3 sites. For a team with several servers, Vimonto Deploy Premium is €15 per month per organization with teams and the API included; on Cleavr those are part of Business. In both cases your cloud provider bills the servers.

Can Vimonto Deploy run AdonisJS or Strapi?

There is no preset for them. Vimonto Deploy has presets for Next.js and Nuxt; see Next.js hosting and Nuxt hosting. If AdonisJS, Strapi or Directus are central to your work, Cleavr lists them as supported.

Where is Vimonto Deploy hosted?

Vimonto Deploy is made and hosted in the EU. Your sites run on servers in the provider and region you choose, and backups go to storage you own.

Your next deploy could be live before your coffee is.

Create an organization, connect a server and push. That is all.
