Vimonto Deploy vs SpinupWP

SpinupWP is a server control panel made for WordPress: page and object caching configured for it, staging sites, and backups of files and database to your own storage. Vimonto Deploy sets up the same kind of server in your own cloud account, for WordPress and also for Laravel, Symfony, Statamic, Next.js and Nuxt, with zero-downtime Git deploys and one price per organization. Choose SpinupWP if your work is WordPress only; choose Vimonto Deploy if you also run other apps or want release-based deploys, monitoring and teams in one price.

Where they differ

WordPress first, or many frameworks. SpinupWP is built for WordPress: it configures full page caching and a Redis object cache for it, makes staging copies of a site, and supports Roots Bedrock. It only officially supports WordPress; other PHP apps can be set up by hand. Vimonto Deploy has presets for WordPress as well as Laravel, Symfony, Statamic, Next.js, Nuxt, PHP and static HTML, with site features such as Horizon and Reverb for Laravel and real cron, Redis object cache and hardening for WordPress. For WordPress agencies that want page caching and staging made for WordPress, SpinupWP goes further.

How deploys work. SpinupWP's push to deploy checks out the branch in the site's directory, and its documentation points to third-party tools for atomic deploys. Vimonto Deploy builds every deploy in a new release, only switches it live when the build succeeded, and can roll back to an earlier release.

Backups and monitoring. SpinupWP backs up a site's files and database to your own bucket, and checks a site's homepage every minute as a paid add-on. Vimonto Deploy backs up databases to your own S3-compatible storage (not files; your code comes from Git), checks every site's uptime every 15 minutes, and adds server monitoring with alerts on CPU, memory and disk, and heartbeats for scheduled jobs. All of it, and teams, are included in the plan, which is per organization rather than per server or user.

Moving over from SpinupWP

Vimonto Deploy does not import from SpinupWP, and a server set up by another panel cannot be connected as it is: provisioning needs a clean Ubuntu 24.04 or 26.04 server. You move by building a new server next to the old one and switching DNS when it works.

Create a server in your cloud account or connect a fresh VPS, then create a site with the WordPress preset, or from your Git repository for a Bedrock or other Git-based site. Import your database dump on the new server, copy wp-content/uploads, and test on the site's generated address. Then point your domain to the new server and request a free Let's Encrypt certificate. Keep the old server until everything runs.

Questions about Vimonto Deploy and SpinupWP

Is Vimonto Deploy an alternative to SpinupWP?

Yes, if you run WordPress and other apps on your own servers. Both create and manage servers in your own cloud account. SpinupWP is made for WordPress only; Vimonto Deploy covers WordPress, Laravel, Symfony, Statamic, Next.js and Nuxt with zero-downtime Git deploys.

Does Vimonto Deploy configure page caching for WordPress?

It installs and enables a Redis object cache for WordPress as a site feature, together with real cron and hardening. Full page caching configured for WordPress is something SpinupWP offers and Vimonto Deploy does not list.

Does Vimonto Deploy back up my WordPress files?

No. Vimonto Deploy backs up databases to S3-compatible storage you own. Back up uploaded files separately, or keep them in object storage. SpinupWP backs up both files and database.

How does the price compare?

SpinupWP charges per server, with extra users on its Advanced plan. Vimonto Deploy is free for 1 server and 3 sites, and Premium is €15 per month per organization for any number of servers, sites and members. With both, your cloud provider bills the servers.

Your next deploy could be live before your coffee is.

Create an organization, connect a server and push. That is all.
